Happy Friday, team!
I know I said I was going to only do one post about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but the traffic to my initial post about the sale where you can see 25 of my favorite picks from the sale was super high—and that was when it was only open to cardholders. So I am interpreting this spike in traffic as an interest in this type of content. SO, now that the sale is open to the general public, I thought I’d check in with y’all again to give you a recap of what I loved and didn’t love from my sale purchases, as well as update you guys on 15 more picks from the sale I’m currently loving—all of which are under $100.
As a reminder, you can see the full list of items I purchased or own in my initial post—I marked them with an asterisk. Of all of my purchases—my concierge had to give me a dolly to lug them up to my apartment, #embarrassing—I ended up keeping nine products, some of which I bought in multiple colors since I can’t help myself.
I basically used this sale as an excuse to stock up on basics. To start, I grabbed both this Maggy London Crepe Dress and this Chelsea28 Shoulder Ruffle Shift Dress for work. I wore the Maggy London dress to work on Wednesday and received so many compliments—and at $70 it’s hard to beat the price! It’d also be perfect for a wedding or holiday party with the right jewelry. I found both run small, so order a size up from your normal size—I ended up with a 10 in both. On the topic of workwear, I also snagged this beautiful Vince Camuto Ruffle Neck Blouse, which is perfect to wear with crop pants or tuck into a skirt. I initially also purchased the blush color, but found it to be completely see-through, so if you’re interested, stick with the black. It runs really large, so order a size down from your normal size—I settled with a small, when I’m usually a medium.
And for when I’m not on duty, I also picked up some great causal wear. For one, this Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan is amazing! I ordered it in the cocoa color in medium and can’t recommend it enough. I can’t wait to wear it all winter—it is so soft. I almost bought it in every color, but Monica talked some sense into me. I also snagged this Halogen Long Sleeve Knit Tunic—for $25!—in black and black-and-white stripes. I had initially purchased it in white, but found it to be way too transparent for my liking.
Switching gears to shoes—I picked up these Nike Free Focus Flyknit 2 Training Shoe. They fit TTS—I bought a 7—and wore them to Orange Theory the other night and loved them. I also ended up keeping these Halogen Ankle Wrap Flats in a size 7, and can’t wait for the weather to cool up a bit so I can wear them every day to work.
I also snagged this Patagonia Water Repellent Parka. It’s definitely a bit of a splurge, but I think it will come in handy this winter—especially since I am going to be walking to work. And to round this whole thing out, I ended up with several Natori bras in this style and this style. I cannot say enough good things because they are wonderful every day bras.
If you have any questions about what I ended up keeping—or why I didn’t keep something, please don’t hesitate to let me know. And now I’ll stop keeping you from the good stuff—here are 15 more finds I’m loving from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, all of which are under $100!
If I didn’t already have a shower curtain I loved—and enough palm print things in my apartment, I would 100% buy this shower curtain. If palms aren’t your thing, it’s also available in pineapples.
Since I’ve been exercising more, I’ve found my need for water bottles increase exponentially. At two for $50, this is an unbeatable deal that also helps the environment.
Ok, so these technically aren’t part of the sale, but when Steve Madden ankle strap sandals are 50%, you buy them. These will be great throughout the rest of the summer and for holiday party season. I own these in nude and they take no time to break in and you can wear them all day.
One of my goals for the sale was to stock up on more work clothes, and since I was so impressed with this Vince Camuto top, I went ahead and picked up this pleat front top to add to my collection.
How cute is this cabled cow neck pullover sweater?! Perfect for those fall Saturdays coming our way in a couple of months.
I saw these in-person at Nordstrom Pentagon City on Saturday when they had me in for an Anniversary Sale preview brunch, and these were so cute. This is the sale to stock up on booties! And if you love the cutout trend, you’ll probably love these, too.
Speaking of booties, I might have to cave and buy these. Vince Camuto makes such high quality shoes—I own several pairs—and adding a peep-toe bootie has long been on my agenda.
If you love the Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan, but want to spend a bit less money, this is a great option at just $50—it comes highly reviewed by some of my friends!
This dress buttons down the back! Combined with the drop hem, it’d be super professional and chic for work this fall.
I absolutely love this dress! I have one nearly identical so I can’t justify it, but I think it’d be so cute for fall.
A super pretty blush lace top perfect for work or play—would love great with denim or black jeans.
Word on the street this thing is better than the Clarisonic, and at nearly $50 off, now is the time to buy.
It’s no secret I love Zella workout clothes—the quality and fit are stellar. How cute is this top?! (I buy all my workout gear in black because it makes me feel the most confident.)
Y’all know I swear by RTR for wedding guest dresses, but at $85, this is a great outfit option for all those summer weddings.
How beautiful is this Maggy London Scissor Sheath Dress? After falling in love with this Maggy London dress, I think this one needs to come home with me, too.
Amazing picks!!! I probably should’ve stocked up on some fall items but I rarely wear real clothes lol! I LOVE that palm print shower curtain – I wish I had use for it!
