Do you ever have those weeks where you feel like you’re already behind at 9 am on Monday morning?
That’s definitely how my week is going! I’ve been playing catch up from the moment it started, and am really glad to be hitting up happy hour tonight. (Only one more week until Scandal returns y’all!)
This week seems to be exceptionally crazy as my day job has required my full attention and late nights, on top of the time consuming homework I am doing for class. (#hellostress) And instead of getting all my posts together this weekend, I decided to spend more time away from my computer and just enjoy life—which made for a longer blog to-do list than typical weeks. But hey, it’s all about work/life balance—and wine nights—right? (Not to mention, I’d rather be working hard indoors while it’s cold outside so I can enjoy the warm weather outdoors when spring rolls around.)
But I did want to ask y’all—how do you cope with stress when the going gets tough during the week? My stress seems to manifest itself as anxiety, which can often times be debilitating because I get so fixated on problems that I tend to make mountains out of molehills. As a result, I end up not accomplishing anything, which only further fuels this cycle. I’m thinking about finding a yoga class or something else to help eliminate the outside noise during the super anxious times. I’d love to know if you have any tips and tricks that have worked for you!
Stress and anxiety aside, it seems like I am the poster child for white jeans in winter this year. I wear them nearly every casual Friday, and have barely touched my denim jeans.
I love wearing this particular outfit because it’s very nautical and I love being on the water—just another reason for spring to hurry up, right? Paired with my navy toggle coat and go-to Sam Edelman Petty Booties, this is the perfect outfit for a weekend brunch date or afternoon shopping trip with your favorite gals.
Thank goodness the next weekend is only two days away! ;]

I love this navy and white look! I especially like how you added a little pop of yellow from your necklace 🙂

Thank you so much! Great eye for detail! xx
Love the combination of dark and light , it’s so nautical and fresh! I cope with stress by listening to audio hypnosis…sounds ridiculous, I know, haha. But the voices are incredibly relaxing and the anti-anxiety ones always send me right to sleep!

Thanks so much, lady! I think that is such a great way to deal with stress. I definitely am going to have to give it a whirl.
Really cute coat! Love the whole nautical feel.
Thanks so much, lady!
Such a cute look! I love the spring vibe for the colder months. I wish I could offer some advice on dealing with stress, but I’ve realized I am horrible with it. I shut down and accomplish absolutely nothing when I get stressed…definitely something I need to work on. Also, thank you for the Scandal update! I’ve been meaning to look up when it starts back up, but keep forgetting to.

Thanks so much, Shannon! I am so glad that I am not the only one who isn’t great at coping with stress – and I am sorry to hear that you also shut down sometimes under the pressure. Can’t wait until Thursday!
I LOVE this coat! And Im with you, I love winter white 🙂 ps you look beautiful!
Thanks K! xx
What a gorgeous coat, I love how you styled it!
Thanks Ashley!
Scandal!! Navy is like my second favorite color but I own nothing in Navy lol. Navy and white are perfect colors for any season and you look stunning in it. As far as stress goes watching a movie or show even if only for a bit to get pumped to watch some more later AFTER finishing whatever it is that needs to done.
Cannot wait for another hour with OP and the gang! I own so much Navy too, probably more than I should! Thanks for the stress tip, I am definitely going to have try that!
The navy + white look is my fave! Love the toggle coat! I hope you’re able to rest a bit this weekend so the stress + anxiety gets better! I always try to listen to my fave music or do something I love when I need a break from it. It always helps to try to distract yourself with something else!
Thanks so much, R! I am already feeling better now that it is the weekend and I can just unwind with some wine! I love the idea of distracting yourself. Thanks so much for the tip :]
Love the toggle coat!! So snazzy! <3 – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com

Ugh, I wish I had advice for how to deal with the stress….maybe a glass of wine and some cheese? 😉
Loving the white and navy combo! White jeans in winter is one of my favourite combinations too…but I often forget to wear them.

You’re the cutest! I love this look.
I am the same way currently…like there is not enough time in the day lately to get things done.

Thanks Jenny! Hope things calm down for you soon! xx
Adorable jacket. And I love the striped shirt too. How do I cope with stress? Coffee and chocolate. 😉
Thanks lady! What good ways to cope!
I love the Navy jacket – but I love the whole combination! I just love white slacks and love those boots too! Such a sporty but cute outfit!
