Happy Sunday! I don’t normally post on Sundays, but this LOFT Floral Flare Shirtdress and these LOFT Metallic Round Sunglasses are 50% off online right now (!), so I wanted to share! But more on that in a second.

This weekend I went down to Charlottesville, Virginia with my best friend Lauren to visit our mutual BFF Molly, who lives down there and always so generously hosts us! Even though I’ve been trying to travel less over the next few months, I never mind going to Charlottesville since it’s such a stress-free trip and easy drive. We grabbed our favorite sandwiches, ate Bodo’s bagels, went to King Family Vineyard, and ate at C&O before getting a nightcap at our favorite NOLA-themed bar. C&O was a bucket list item for me—I’d never been before!—and the food was delicious. It was fun to have a splurge meal with two of my best friends. Next weekend should be a fun one, too, as my cousin gets married! I am excited to hang out with my family all weekend long and see some cousins I haven’t seen in a while. It’s local, too, so it will be nice to not have to travel too far.

I can’t believe it’s almost October (!!!)—where does the time go? I love warm weather, but even I am ready for a change of seasons and some cooler temps. (Though not parka-temps yet, please!) But as we enjoy the last 90-degree days of the year, I’ve been loving the aforementioned LOFT Floral Flare Shirtdress, which, despite being a little spring/summer-y in my opinion, is part of their fall collection.

I rarely go into LOFT—I usually online shop—but last week I was picking something up at Barnes & Noble and there was a LOFT right next door. So, I walked in on a whim and walked out with this LOFT Floral Flare Shirtdress, and have worn it several times since. It’s so comfortable and I always get so many compliments on it when I wear it out! Although it’s not chilly out yet, I think this dress will transition well—it’d pair really nicely with booties. It definitely runs on the larger side, so if you’re in-between sizes, size down. I bought an 8 for reference.

A few of my sunglasses were misplaced over the summer, so I also picked up these LOFT Metallic Round Sunglasses on sale. With the code OMG, they’re currently around $13, which is a steal! And, I’ve found from past experiences LOFT sunglasses really do hold up over the years, despite being on the affordable side of eyewear.
