Well. This is a tad awkward.
No, but really—who would have ever thought André would be so prominently featured on A Touch of Teal? Especially considering it is not 2011, the year I consumed enough of the strawberry flavor to last a lifetime, but I digress.
You see, a few weeks ago, Monica was stopping by my apartment to kick off her birthday weekend with a drink and an outfit-post photo session. (Hence, the André.*)
But two bloggers, their cameras, and Lilly Pulitzer wine glasses? I think you can quickly see how what was going to be a non-photographed, pre-birthday drink turned into a full blown drink recipe post.
(*For those of you throwing shade at home, don’t worry—the André is not indicative of my lack of love for Monica, it just highlights the subpar champs selection within walking distance of my apartment. I’d also be lying if I said we didn’t enjoy it ;].)
The good news is, this drink tastes fabulous—I promise, nothing like college—and is super easy and affordable to make. If you’re looking for a crowd-pleaser for a larger summer barbecue, this would be an easy drink to throw in a pitcher and serve.
I think the key to this drink really is the Williams & Sonoma Bellini Tangerine Orange Blossom Bellini Mix. My friend Lauren first gave me a bottle for my birthday, and I’ve restocked my bar cart a few times with it since. Perfect for a weekend brunch or an evening affair like this one, it definitely packs a flavorful punch so one bottle goes a long way.
Ingredients
– 1 bottle of champagne
– 1 bottle of Williams & Sonoma Bellini Tangerine Orange Blossom Bellini Mix
– fresh, washed blueberries
Directions
Fill champagne glasses 3/4 of the way full. Top last 1/4 off with Bellini mix. Garnish with flesh blueberries. Enjoy!

Andre brings back lots of memories! I love that you paired it with the WS mix. Good to know it’s worth buying to have around! Have you ever mixed it with anything else? I’m wondering how it would taste with vodka.
Yeah – for me too! I haven’t ever tried it with anything else, but I am SURE it would be great with vodka. Now I want to give that a whirl myself! xx
