DIY Confetti Gift Tags

Sunday was both my roommate’s and my sister’s birthday, so I was definitely in gift-giving mode. To up my gift-wrapping game, I wanted something easy that would really elevate my presentation. (Of course, I ended up getting my roommate a gift card, but it’s the thought that counts, right?)

These DIY confetti gift tags are so easy to make and could be customized to fit any occasion. I wanted to do something really colorful for spring on mine, but the possibilities really are endless.

Colored Paper, Hole Punch, Craft Paper Gift Tags, Glue Stick
Colored Paper, Hole Punch, Craft Paper Gift Tags, Glue Stick

Once you’ve gathered your supplies, here’s what you do:

1. Punch out a lot of holes from all your different colored paper.

2. Draw a line on the gift tags about 1/3 of the way up. You’ll glue dots on this line and below.

3. Put some glue on the tag and using your fingers, begin sticking your dots onto the tag. I worked in small sections so the glue wouldn’t dry before I was done. I also put a little glue on my finger so that it was easier to pick up the tiny dots.

4. Affix to any package or gift bag, and enjoy!

Yes! So easy for kids and you could always make the circles larger if they were too small to grasp! Let me know how it turns out!

These are totally adorable! I love making gift wrapping elements by hand, so this DIY has my name written all over it. I love that I don’t have to buy the confetti, but rather make it with a hole punch.. BRILLIANT!! Thank you for sharing!
