Eek—happy almost Thanksgiving! If you’re traveling today or early tomorrow, I wish you safe travels and traffic-free highways. One of my all-time favorite SNL videos focuses on this time of year when everyone heads home for the holidays. If you haven’t seen it yet, definitely check out Back Home Ballers, it’s several years old, but so accurate that it makes everyone in my family laugh.
I’m back today with another gift guide, this time for all those great hostesses in your life. Let’s be real, no one is spending a ton of money on hostess gifts, so everything listed below is $40 or under—and the things that are pricier on the list are the things I’d probably give a close friend who just so happens to be playing hostess.
One other gift I love to give and receive this time of year that’s not on this guide is a live poinsettia. They are so festive and make such a beautiful decorations around the house. My friend Jenn gave me one last holiday season, and I thought of her every time I looked at it! They can be found at most grocery stores and home + garden centers and are usually no more than $10.
This jingle bell wine holder is a super fun way to dress up a regular old bottle of wine for the holidays. There are also multiple patterns available if tartan isn’t your thing.
Chrissy Teigen could sell ice to an eskimo, and she certainly has sold me on her cookbooks. Cravings, Hungry for More would be a great gift for any hostess who loves to cook—Chrissy’s food is delicious!
How adorable are these “on a long leash” fabric cocktail napkins? I love cocktail napkins that have a ton of personality and are conversation starters.
This monogram wine bottle stopper would be the perfect little treat for your favorite hostess—or even an engaged friend who is gaining a new letter to their name.
How beautiful (and practical!) is this copper pineapple cocktail shaker? I have pineapple tumblers and drink out of them surprisingly often.
If you want to give your favorite hostess a consumable product, but want to stay clear from alcohol, a nice bottle of olive oil is always a good idea! They can cook with it, use it for nipping some of their favorite breads, or, if it’s a beautiful label, display it on a shelf.
This three-piece turquoise cheese knife set is stunning and would be a thoughtful gift for any hostess—and a reminder of the holiday memories you share anytime she pulls it out.
These carry-on cocktail kits are always a hit—the margarita one is my favorite!
I love gifting and receiving ornaments during the holiday season. This three-piece champagne bottle ornament set would be cute as a whole gift, or you could give one of the ornaments to three hostesses in your life.
These bar game coasters are super useful and also provide so much good entertainment—the perfect present for anyone who loves to host loved ones.
I love the sugarfina champagne gummy bears, but rarely buy them myself because of the price—which makes them a great hostess gift since your hostess probably also wouldn’t buy them for herself.
Scout Bags are my go-to for all sorts of totes/coolers/gift bags, and these wine bags—which come in a ton of colors!—are also a great way to gift your hostess a bottle of wine along with something they can reuse.
How cute is this flamingo bottle opener?! It would be the cutest little gift.
When all else fails, a great smelling candle is a can’t-miss standby.
All of these gifts are so cute, but the champagne ornaments stole my heart ❤️!
Thank you so much – I loved them, too!
