It’s that time of year again—gift guides season! I’m certainly not trying to rush past Thanksgiving, but have gotten feedback over the years that these gift guides have been helpful for y’all when shopping for your loved ones or making your own lists to pass onto Santa. As such, I wanted to start gift guides today so that y’all have a little bit of time to research gifts before the Black Friday sales. Online window shopping/adding things to my cart before the prices drops is always my strategy for a seamless holiday shopping experience.
A few weeks ago, my friend Kate came over for a wine night and I was asking her for feedback on my holiday gift guides. She told me that she likes to shop for the more expensive items on her list on Black Friday, and pick up all the smaller ($25-50) or hostess gifts later on the holiday season. So, I’m going to heed her advice and start today by sharing some things on my Christmas list + some things that I’d totally make sure are on yours because I use them almost every day!
If there are any particular gift guides you want to see this year, don’t hesitate to let me know! As always, I’m going to be offering all types of holiday content this season, so if gift guides aren’t your thing, there will still be something here for you.
Though I have a few handbags I take to work, I still haven’t found the perfect workbag that also doubles as a good carry-on for work trips when I need to take my laptop and a slew of other work-related items. I absolutely love Cuyana’s products—they are so well made and so timeless. I especially love their trapeze satchel and it’s going on my list this Christmas! A few years ago, I received a beautiful leather wallet for Christmas, and it is one of my most-used items. Mine is still in great shape, so I’m not looking to replace it, but if I was, I’d opt for this Cuyana leather wallet. I’m not a huge fan of wallets that zip—this one folds out just how I like!
My Kindle is one of my best buys EVER! You can read more about why I like it here.
Jewelry is always a great stocking stuffer—I need a new pair of pearl earrings, and like how these are a twist on the classic. I also love to wear stacking rings and this Madewell set is one of my favorites. Baublebar is my go-to shop for statement earrings that are lightweight. I have their Contessa Tassel Earrings in white, and recently just added the same pair in red so I can turn otherwise simple outfits into something a little more festive.
I’ve had my UGGs since high school—they’ve held up beautifully because I don’t really wear them outside in inclement weather. But, I think it’s time to replace them and I love the look of the Bailey Button Boot.
I’ve been on a bit of a makeup kick lately—this NARS matte lipstick has become one of my go-tos for parties/dinners with friends, this Becca Be a Light palette is amazing and makes your skin glow, and I think IT Cosmetics makes the best makeup brushes.
My dishwasher is super small, so I typically drink wine out of stemless glasses—only I don’t have a complete set anymore! I love these teal and gold ones.
How cute is this keychain set?! One ring for your town home, one for your country home—a girl can dream. Until then, I’ll settle for the keychains.
The best hair ties for when you want to put your hair up, but want to avoid the dreaded crest.
The Voluspa Japonica Goji Tarocco Candle is my all-time favorite scent to burn, and I love lighting candles with long fireplace matches—so much more fun than a stick lighter!
You are so right It Cosmetics makes some of the best brushes on the market.
They really do! I love their brushes so much.
