I’ve slowly but surely been making my new-ish ap I’ve slowly but surely been making my new-ish apartment feel like home 💓 I just splurged on patio furniture, so will be saving up for my next big decor purchase. Until then, I have been adding small pieces that I love in different rooms over the last few weeks to really fill out the space ✨ Swipe to see! 1️⃣ I added these beautiful brass candlesticks to my white dresser in my living room. I mentioned I wanted a pair of candlesticks and my grandma wasn’t using these anymore, so she gave them to me. I love collecting pieces that have a family history, so I’ll cherish these forever. 🤍 2️⃣ My green dresser was feeling empty without a pineapple lamp, so I picked up a second one from @target. I love adding some height to it with coffee table books—these two are “Living With Pattern” by Rebecca Atwood and “Patterns of India” by Christine Chitnis. The latter is especially beautiful and is under $20! 🍍 3️⃣ I wanted to bring some more color to my kitchen and oranges are one of my favorite fruit. When I saw this beautiful vintage citrus print from @lindsaetters.co, I knew it was meant to be! I got the 11x14” and a cheap white frame off Amazon. 🍊
It was a rainy, dreary day here in Virginia, so I It was a rainy, dreary day here in Virginia, so I was dreaming of the West Village Sunday funday I had a couple of weekends ago 💓 I can’t believe tomorrow is going to be MARCH—I am still mentally processing last March. But I am excited for longer days, the promise of warmer weather, March Madness, and more opportunities to sip bubbly al fresco ✨ Here’s to a better March than the one we had last year! x
DID SOMEBODY SAY WINE BAR? 🍷 This weekend I ha DID SOMEBODY SAY WINE BAR? 🍷 This weekend I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious meal from @verrewinebar, located just down the street from me here in Courthouse. In the “before times,” Verre Wine Bar was a go-to happy hour spot for me and I am so glad they’ve been able to open back up for delivery + takeout. In addition to still offering the wine, cheese, and charcuterie boards I used to enjoy with friends after work, they’re now offering organic chicken meals with farm fresh sides. If you’re like me, you’re tired of cooking the same five recipes to eat at home, so this is a great way to support a local restaurant while enjoying a wonderful meal that is still relatively healthy. To go along with my chicken, I ordered the mashed potatoes, balsamic brussels with pecorino, and parmesan roasted broccoli. But my favorite part of the meal? The AMAZING sauces that go with the chicken—I don’t skimp when it comes to sauces, so I tried them all: fiery diablo, bbq, chimichurri, lemon herb, and green goddess. Can you guess which one my favorite is?! 😉 Verre Wine Bar treated me to this amazing meal, but I loved it and will definitely be back again soon! You can order online via their website for contactless curbside pickup or for delivery via Postmates, DoorDash, UberEats, or GrubHub. (I always try to order directly from the restaurant when I can because every little bit helps!) 💓
ONE YEAR AGO THIS WEEKEND WAS MY LAST TRIP IN THE ONE YEAR AGO THIS WEEKEND WAS MY LAST TRIP IN THE BEFORE TIMES 😭🌴☀️💓💦 So glad I had such a great weekend with my coworkers and our influencer + media guests down @sobewffest before the world shut down a few weeks later. Here are a few of my fave pics from the trip—what I wouldn’t give for an escape to the warmth and sunshine right about now!
Best night of the year so far: enjoying fancy cock Best night of the year so far: enjoying fancy cocktails and dino nuggets in a speakeasy behind an ice cream shop with one of my best friends 💓🥂🦖🍦 I loved @theuesnyc so much—they made Valentine’s feel so festive, the staff was so nice, and the ambiance was amazing; their playlist was a great mix of oldies, beach music, and bops you’d hear at a wedding ✨ Along with Doc Holliday’s and Dorrian’s, it’s now one of my favorite spots for drinks in NYC!
