Guilt-Free Cucumber Mint Gimlet

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably a little concerned about keeping your eating and drinking in-check between now and New Year’s. (I mean, hello, my family ran out of wine at Thanksgiving dinner if that gives you any indication of how much we love to celebrate the holidays.)

In addition to keeping up a regular schedule of spin and Orangetheory classes, I’m striving to make healthier choices and substitutions when I can so I can still enjoy this special time without feeling like I’m depriving myself and undoing all my hard work at the gym.

Around the time I was planning my holiday content, Be Mixed reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try their no sugar, no calorie, all-natural cocktail mixers. (Essentially, Be Mixed takes why we all love vodka sodas, but makes it less boring and more delicious.) I jumped at the chance, but didn’t make any promises to post about Be Mixed until I’d tried out their mixers and decided whether or not I liked them.

I received all three flavors they offer—cucumber mint, margarita, and ginger lime—and after enjoying some delicious, guilt-free cocktails, quickly came to the conclusion I loved the taste and the concept so much that I wanted to share Be Mixed (and my favorite cocktail of the moment!) with you today since I think you’ll love these mixers, too.

Be Mixed mixers are perfect for holiday season entertaining because they’re easy! To mix up a delicious drink, all you have to do is pour one bottle of a Be Mixed mixer and one shot of your choosing over ice.

For a classic gimlet, you typically use gin, lime juice, and simple syrup, then garnish with a cucumber.

For this sugar-free gimlet, I added one four-ounce bottle of the Be Mixed cucumber mint mixer, one shot of gin, and a splash of lime juice to my shaker, and then served over ice. Since it’s the holidays, I opted to garnish this with cranberries instead of the traditional cucumber wheel. (Note—if you’re not a huge gin drinker, I’ve also made this recipe with vodka and it tastes equally refreshing.)

Because Be Mixed mixers come in four-ounce bottles, it’s easy to customize the number of drinks you’re making—so whether it’s a party of one or you have enough cheese and crackers for eight people, there’s no guesswork involved when entertaining and it’s easier to hold yourself accountable from those heavy holiday pours.

If you’re looking for where to pick up some Be Mixed for yourself, you can either grab it in their online shop or use their location finder to shop it in-person. A note that in addition to their four-ounce bottles, they also offer larger 25-ounce bottles, which would be great to have on-hand for larger get-togethers.

Let me know if you try Be Mixed out—I’d love to know what you mix up! Cheers! x

I bought six bottles after reading so many positive reviews. What a DISASTER – opened three of the bottles to taste and literally got sick to my stomach! TERRIBLE stuff!! It’s just a gimmick that Amazon is heavily promoting. A healthy low sugar mixer is the way to go. Don’t buy into all this hype. The stuff sucks!!
