2017 Gift Guides: For the Bar

TGIT!

I’m closing out this year’s gift guides with a fun one—a round up of gift ideas for the bar. I actually sold my bar cart earlier this year because there wasn’t a good space for it in my apartment and I wasn’t enjoying it as much as I used to. I definitely would be willing to get one again in the future when my home layout is more conducive, but in the interim, I’m using my island as my bar when I’m entertaining. You know how it is at parties—people love to congregate in the kitchen anyway.

I’ve amassed quite the collection of bar accessories over the years and love having these special pieces on-hand for parties and wine nights. I especially love when I’m gifted something for my (now hypothetical) bar cart because then I can think of that person everytime time I use it. As such, I wanted to share my picks for the bar with you today. Added bonus: many of these gifts are small and inexpensive, so could also double as the perfect gift for a hostess or acquaintance.

In my humble opinion, you can never have too much drink ware and it makes for a great gift. I love this set of 10 champagne flutes, which would also be so cute on New Years Eve, these highball glasses that have gold images of drink garnishes, and these jingle juice wine glasses, complete with bell stoppers.

For a smaller trinket, these tassel swivel sticks are so unique—but not something I’d usually buy myself, which makes them the perfect gift! I also love these gold “merry” and “cheers” bottle openers and these jingle bell wine stoppers.

This tropical cocktail party kit is adorable and practical—it comes with six coasters, six drink umbrellas, 6 paper straws, 6 stirrers, and plastic ice cubes. Plus, it’s only $25! For a larger gift, it could easily be paired with this palm bottle cooler tote, designed to keep your beverages chilled on-the-go.

If you want to spend a bit more money, this “hard stuff” decanter is punny and practical, this dot pitcher would be perfect for white sangria come spring, and this “bar” trinket dish set would be perfect for serving snacks at a party.

PS—because my work holiday party is tonight, there won’t be a post tomorrow! I wanted to get one scheduled, but it just wasn’t in the cards. I’ll see y’all back here on Monday.
