8 Sandals I’m Loving for Spring

What’s up, squad?! Long time, no talk!

I returned from New Orleans late last Wednesday night. We had such a fun trip, and I will be sure to share a recap here on the blog soon. I will say, I wish we could have brought the weather from NOLA back with us. It was unbeatable—it was sunny, in the high 70s, and there was no humidity (!). It was so nice to walk outside without a parka! We covered a lot of ground in the five days we were there, and it was nice to disconnect for that long. Work has been pretty chill lately, so I didn’t even feel pressure to check my email that often, which was so nice!

I’ve spent the past few days getting my life organized again—catching up on laundry, going to the grocery store, cleaning my apartment, making some returns from an over-ambitious spring online shopping spree. I also took some time to “flip” my closet and move all my spring clothes to the front. Even if the weather hasn’t caught up, I love seeing some of my favorite warm weather pieces out front.

When I was in the process of re-organizing my closet, I threw out some of my old sandals that I either walked through or didn’t wear at all last summer and realized it might be time to invest in some new ones. I’ve rounded up eight pairs that I’m loving right now below—let me know if there are any you have your eye on!

I owned a pair of these Sole Society scallop sandals a couple of summers ago, and they were my absolute favorite. They’ve re-released them in this nice rose gold color, which would go with just about any outfit this spring or summer. These take almost no time to break in and run true to size.

I love lace-up sandals and think these would look so cute with a sundress! These velvet ones from LOFT come in both black and blush, and since the straps are velvet, won’t dig into your skin. I have several pairs of sandals from LOFT and Ann Taylor, and find that the quality is great and they run true to size—I buy 7s.

When I first saw these shoes, I couldn’t believe they were from Talbots! I love the gingham bow, and the navy suede is just so classic. I love sandals that have a low block heel—it’s so elegant. These would be perfect for a nice dinner or brunch out with friends.

I bought these Soludos earlier this year when they were on sale for $35. They are so comfortable and I can’t wait to wear these with white jeans all summer long. The stripe makes them such a classic!

I bought these Steve Madden slides last year and this year’s version is virtually the same (my shoes have pearls instead of diamonds). I love these sandals so much—they’re perfect “commuting shoes” to walk to work in before changing into heels and are also great for traveling. They are rather expensive for slides, but I wore them nearly every day last summer so I’d say they are well worth it!

These Sole Society sandals are en route to me right now! If it’s not evident, I love having neutral sandals because they can go with just about any outfit in my wardrobe. I love that these zip in the back, which means they are easy to take on/off. Plus, that bow detail is just too cute!

I think I’ve convinced nearly every woman in my office to buy these J Crew Factory shoes—they’re that good! So good that I am now on my second pair. The heel height is perfect—it’s low enough that you can walk around in them all day, but high enough you feel like you really are wearing a heel. They’re also a great option for weddings.

These shoes are the ones featured in the main image of this post. Old Navy is one of my favorite places to shop for shoes because they always have on-trend pieces for so cheap. These blush block heels are around $25—depending on the sale—and are so comfortable! If you remember those sequin block heels I bought at Christmas, these are the same shoe, just in a different color. They’re perfect for work!
