2016 Gift Guides: Stocking Stuffers

It’s. Almost. Thanksgiving!

Do you open your stocking first before your presents or do you save it for last? Our stockings were beautifully handmade by my grandma when she still did cross-stitch, and thus have our names on them. “Santa” has always used them to mark our pile of presents on Christmas morning, though my family is pretty divided on whether we open them first or last. I tend to open my stocking first and then moved onto the larger boxes while my sisters like to dig right into the big presents first.

(Let’s be real: I want to eat candy while I’m opening the rest of my gifts. It’s Christmas morning and calories definitely don’t count. Particularly, I love these champagne flavored gummy bears and, of course, you can never go wrong with white chocolate truffles.)

Either way, stockings are such a fun holiday tradition, and even you’re not making a full-on stocking for someone, many of these small gifts featured here would be perfect for a coworker in lieu of the usual Starbucks or as an add-on to a present for a good friend.

These cheers + salut old fashioned glasses and this golden key corkscrew would be perfect in a stocking with a few air plane bottles.

For the fashionistas in your life, this sweater knit beanie is perfect for staying warm this winter and I don’t leave the house on weekends without a small card holder for only the most important wallet essentials. If you want to spend a bit more, this bracelet doubles as an iPhone charger.

If all else fails, these Kate Spade glitter studs or Essie holiday nail polish are sure-fire hits.

When we open our stockings varies every year haha! Although – EVERY SINGLE YEAR we are STILL forced to sit at the top of the stairs while my parents see everything Santa brought ha!

    Have a happy Thanksgiving!
