Happy Monday, y’all! Did you have a good weekend?
I’ve been thinking about writing this post for a while—mostly as a keepsake for me, but also to see if you love writing handwritten letters, too. On this past snowy Saturday morning, I finally got around to going through the special notes I keep under my bed in a tin keepsake box to find several to photograph. (Very Parent Trap, I know.)
Writing handwritten letters, notes, and thank you cards seems to be a lost art among the masses, but many of my friends and I trade handwritten birthday and holiday cards, and I hope it’s an art we’re able to keep alive. I also devote a few minutes every month to drop my 87-year-old Grandma a handwritten note, which over the years, has become a very special bond in our relationship. We both love reading, the Kennedys, reading about the Kennedys, and Downton Abbey, and writing has been a way for us to share these passions.
